requires the input of expert SAP HR professionals.  This is a major initiative for a large company.  A great opportunity

European Project Manager

 

ROLE OBJECTIVE

 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

On a local scope (cluster or country), ensure that project is implemented in compliance to the methodology and realized according to predetermined time, quality, costs, profit criteria

 

 

Follow-up definition of functional needs and ensure compliancy to the methodology

•  Supervise the workshop for gathering requirements
•  Follow-up writing of the blueprints to gather client business requirements
•  Deliver proposals on client procedures in order to optimize proposed solution
•  Identify gaps and propose corrective measures

 

Follow-up project according to predetermined methodology and internal
standards

•  Ensure compliancy to the internal methodology 
•  Make proposals to client to reduce discrepancies with proposed methodology
•  Supervise timely issuing, maintenance and refreshment of all project deliveries (blue-prints, project and user documentation and information including SAP internal systems)
 

Ensure definition and compliance to issue management

•  Monitor issues on a weekly basis
•  Monitor escalation of problems
•  Ensure risk management

Ensure a qualitative management of client relationship

•  Provide recommendation to the client to reduce gaps and ensure standard product use
•  Manage client's expectations during project
•  Deliver proposals on client's procedures in order to optimize proposed solution

 

Escalate project issues to Project Manager (including scope variations, tasks slippages and risks)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

 

•  At least 3 years of experience as a consultant on SAP HR payroll
•  Good understanding of Country, State and Enterprise legislation as it relates to the design and configuration of payroll
•  Experience of international project management
•  Fluency in English (oral and written)
•  Appropriate tertiary level education or equivalent industry experience

 

TRAVELS

 

 

•  Occasional travel ( Europe mainly)
