Location: Crawley, West Sussex Salary: £65-80k plus package
Our client is a leading, global manufacturer and distributor of high performance and innovative cable management products. They are looking for a BD executive to work with the senior management reporting to the Group President (GP) responsible for support in developing Corporate strategy, completing transactions, providing analytical and market reviews and supporting change projects designed to improve business performance.
This would be an ideal role for someone with consulting experience and wanting to move into operations in 2 to 3 years.
• Undertaking timely and cost-effective market reviews in support of Corporate Initiatives or Transactions
• Working with the GP and Regional Presidents in analysing and interpreting such information, developing actions and presenting these for approval
• Preparation of the Acquisition Proposal Documentation (APD) information for transactions
• Preparing and reviewing Commercial and Technical Due Diligence in support to transactions
• Input to process timetables, project plans and valuation models for transactions, as managed by the Corporate Financial Officer (CFO)
• Working with business consultants to drive through change projects which enhance business performance
• Ability to understand engineering products in terms of business impacts
• Capability for completion and presentation of clear, logical, accurate analysis of business situations
• Highly organised and capable of working accurately on issues of detail under pressure
• Ability to think broadly about the identification of key company capabilities and their application to markets
• Apolitical contributor used to working as part of a team
• Ability to secure the respect of senior operational managers
• Honours Degree, either in Engineering or Physics or with a very high-
demonstrated level of broad interest in Engineering and Electronics
• Working understanding of Accounting
• MBA desirable
