Our Client are one of Europe 's largest independent private equity fund managers. They have an opening for a multi-lingual Analyst.
Job Title Role: Analyst (Private Equity)
Location: London
Salary: £45,000 to £60,000
Job Profile: To assist MD's and Principals with sourcing, executing, monitoring and realising investments for the Private Equity funds and the provision of investment advice and/or investment management services.
Main Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain private equity databases for monitoring and analysis of investments.
Record, monitor and analyse investments.
May be responsible for contacting fund managers.
Assists in the production of reports.
Responsible for post investment administration.
May be responsible for the provision of investment valuations.
Will work under close supervision.
Attend weekly Team meetings.
Work with in-house legal team on acceptable Confidentiality Letters with auctioning banks and other legal work.
Develop portfolio company monthly & quarterly reporting and work on restructuring or exiting the companies.

Technical Competencies:
Ability to analyse issues and complex data and make systematic and rational judgements based on relevant information.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant investments.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (FSA)
Financial modelling.
Typical Experience:
Graduate with experience in financial services (preferable not Investment Banking) involving research analysis or a Chartered Accountant.
Other Requirements:
Your experience to date must include some exposure to Private Equity
Flexibility to work unusual hours on occasion and when required.
Travel.
To hold directorships of investee and to attend Board meetings of investee companies.
Multilingual (fluent in a European language - plus high-quality standard of written and spoken English )
